SIOS LifeKeeper for Linux

Keep Essential Linux Applications Running without Downtime or Data Loss

SIOS LifeKeeper for Linux is a simple, cost-efficient clustering software that provides complete high availability (HA) and disaster recovery (DR) protection for SAP, SAP S/4HANAOracle, MaxDB, and other essential applications. Applications protected by LifeKeeper keep running through a wide range of fault, failures, and local, site-wide, and regional disasters, enabling you to meet your availability SLAs with ease.

SIOS LifeKeeper supports all major Linux distributions, including Red Hat Enterprise Linux, SUSE Linux Enterprise Server, Rocky Linux, and Oracle Linux and accommodates a wide range of storage architectures.

Continuous Monitoring of the Entire Linux Application Stack

Unlike other clustering solutions that only monitor server operation, SIOS LifeKeeper monitors and protects against issues in the entire application environment – server, storage, operating system, network, database, and application.

Complete Application-Aware Protection

Powerful application recovery kits (ARK) enable SIOS LifeKeeper to ensure fast, safe recovery or failover of complex applications and databases. When a problem is detected, SIOS LifeKeeper automatically manages the response according to one of three preselected options – alerting the administrator, restarting the application, and/or managing a complete failover to another node. ARKs ensure application operations continues on secondary cluster node(s) quickly and seamlessly.

Wizard-Driven Setup Simplifies Linux Clustering

SIOS LifeKeeper software provides an intuitive setup wizard that lets you setup your Linux cluster in minutes not hours in a wide range of configurations.

Complete Configuration Flexibility

Build a traditional shared-storage cluster or use SIOS software to synchronize local storage in a SANless cluster configuration. SIOS LifeKeeper supports a wide array of storage devices, including direct-attached storage, iSCSI, Fibre Channel and more. SIOS LifeKeeper also gives you complete configuration flexibility, including Physical-to-Physical (P2P), Physical-to-Virtual (P2V) and Virtual-to-Virtual (V2V) clusters.

SIOS Protection Suite

SIOS LifeKeeper comes with SIOS DataKeeper, and multiple Application Recovery Kits (ARKs) in a bundle called SIOS Protection Suite.

SANless Clustering for Performance or Cloud

Use SIOS software to synchronize local storage on all cluster nodes for SANless failover clustering protection where shared storage solutions are impractical or impossible, such as in a cloud, a virtual environment, a high-performance SSD storage or a hybrid storage environment. Use SIOS clustering software to protect critical applications in AWS, Azure or the Google Cloud Platform.
