VMworld 2017 Recap: SIOS iQ Named Best of Show Finalist
Another VMworld conference is behind us, and this year was an exciting one. Highlights of the show included major announcements about the availability of VMware on AWS. The SIOS team saw a lot of interest in machine learning analytics for virtual environments.
We are proud that the judges from TechTarget named SIOS iQ a finalist in TechTarget’s Best of VMworld Awards in the Workload Management and Migration category. SIOS iQ IT Analytics automatically learns the behavior of interrelated objects in IT infrastructure to give customers quick answers to VMWare infrastructure questions including those about workload management and migration. TechTarget’s panel of expert judges evaluated 90 products on display at VMworld 2017 and named winners in seven categories.
Additionally, David Klee, Heraflux Founder Microsoft MVP, VMware vExpert also came by the booth to demonstrate an exciting new software solution that integrates with SIOS iQ during to correlate the SQL Server performance issues to specific changes in the infrastructure to determine the root cause and recommend specific solutions. SIOS iQ also helps with SQL Server workload management by recommending specific ways to eliminate wasted virtual resources and optimizing infrastructures for performance and availability.
SIOS Contributes to Red Cross Hurricane Harvey Relief Efforts
In our planning efforts this year, we decided that, instead of giving away swag, we would make a contribution to a worthy cause for every card scan. We are proud to be contributing $1000 to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
While we were at the event, we were saddened to learn about the widespread destruction caused by Hurricane Harvey. As a result, we are also making a $1000 contribution to the Red Cross Hurricane Harvey relief efforts. Thanks to all who stopped by for making this possible!
Congrats to Raffle Winner!
Finally, congratulations to David G. who is the winner of our raffle for a Bebop Drone!
