Nobuo Kita is also the president and CEO of SIOS Technology Group, the parent company of SIOS Technology Corp. SIOS Technology, headquartered in Tokyo, is an IT infrastructure and web application software development company and a leader in open source software. SIOS Technology went public in 2004 and its stock is traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange. Nobuo is also on the board of directors and is the founder of Mozilla Japan, an affiliate of Mozilla Foundation/Mozilla Corp., the world’s most successful open source software development organization. Nobuo is also on the board of directors of Seasar Foundation, which is the largest open source software developers’ community in Japan. Prior to becoming CEO of SIOS Technology, Nobuo was the CEO of Northern Lights Computer, a pioneer in Linux and system integration services in Japan. Northern Lights merged with Ten Art-ni Corporation which became SIOS Technology. Nobuo has BS in engineering from Kyoto Institute of Technology.
Jerry is responsible for leading the company strategy and operations. He brings over 25 years of experience in the enterprise and high availability software markets. Prior to joining SIOS, he was CTO at Marathon Technologies where he led business and product strategy for Marathon’s fault tolerant solutions. Previously he held executive positions at PPGx, Inc. and Belmont Research, where he was responsible for building a leading-edge software product and consulting business focused on supplying data warehouse and analytical tools. Jerry began his career at Digital Equipment Corporation where he led an entrepreneurial business unit that delivered highly scalable, mission critical database platforms to support enterprise-computing environments in the medical, financial and telecommunication markets. He holds a B.S. from Beloit College with graduate work in Computer Engineering and Computer Science at Boston University.
Bob joined SIOS as vice president of engineering to lead its product research, development and delivery process. Bob comes to SIOS with over 20 years of experience in software, technology, and high-availability related projects on both UNIX and Windows NT platforms, with a more recent emphasis on Linux. Recently, Bob has expanded his areas of responsibility to include Product Management and Product Marketing. Prior to joining SIOS, Bob managed numerous projects during his 18 years tenure at NCR Corporation in the communications, performance, high availability, and e-Commerce areas. Bob holds an MS in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina.
Sergey A. Razin has joined SIOS in September 2012 and responsible for driving SIOS’ strategy, and innovation. In addition Sergey is a co-founder and currently serves as a member of the planning committee for Palmetto Open Source Conference (http://www.posscon.org) as well as active contributor to a number of open source initiatives. Prior to joining SIOS Sergey was an architect for EMC Unified Storage division and EMC CTO office where he drove number of initiatives in areas of network protocols, cloud and storage management, metrics, and analytics as well as innovation. Throughout his academic and professional career Sergey served roles of Principal Investigator (PI), leader in research, development as well as architecture in areas of big data analytics, speech recognition, telephony, and networking. Sergey holds PhD in computer science from the Moscow State Scientific Center of Informatics, where he researched Natural Language Processing (NLP) and media processing. He also holds BS in Computer Science from the University of South Carolina.
Celia started her career in financial services technology at JP Morgan in NYC where she spent 10 years in various technology management roles. She then relocated to San Francisco where she headed up the infrastructure and development teams for the finance, sales, research and investment banking divisions of Robertson Stephens. Celia then transitioned from corporate IT to vendor side technology services and sales. In her position as Director – West Coast Sales for Aduva, she quickly grew revenue and secured key account wins. Celia was instrumental in the continued success of the evolution of the Aduva product line and aggressive sales growth throughout the subsequent acquisitions by Sun Microsystems and Oracle.
Celia earned her BS degree from Virginia Tech and MBA from the Stern School of Business – New York University.
Tony has over a decade of experience providing systems management and high availability solutions to Enterprise customers. Tony is currently responsible for defining and delivering technical pre-sales services, support and best practices to SIOS customers, prospects and partners. Prior to SIOS, Tony worked at Oracle where he served as the Global Sales Engineering lead for the systems management practice. Tony joined Oracle through the acquisitions of Sun Microsystems and Aduva, Inc., where he served as the lead Sales Engineer / Technical Account Manager and played a critical role in product adoption and evolution.
Tony holds a BS in Computer Science from California Polytechnic (Cal Poly) State University, San Luis Obispo.
